Grant can see it. On the plasma display is a picture of Sarah and Chuck.

Decker looks very uncomfortable.

Decker breathes a sigh of relief.

Klebb and Grant stare oddly at Decker, who quickly shuts up
out of embarassment.

DECKER
She has a habit of getting involved with the people she works
with. I'll have the CIA office in LA assign her to work with you in
getting you out of Istanbul and into Venice. We'll send her a picture of
you and tell her that you saw a picture of her...
Decker takes out a copy of the magazine from vs the Suitcase
showing Sarah's bloody lip from the battle with the Volkoff supermodel.
DECKER
and fell in love with her and want to meet her. In
exchange you will give her an Intersect Lektor prototype stolen from her father
in law, Stephen Bartowski.
GRANT
The Stephen Bartowski? Orion?
DECKER

GRANT

Decker takes out a camera.
DECKER

Grant removes his shirt revealing a model's body...well toned
muscles, no fat, a strong smooth chest and a solid 8 pack down to his waist.
Klebb cannot help but check him out, while Decker looks
impressed as he takes a photo.

DECKER

CHUCK wakes up and sees SARAH still sleeping next to him.
He leans over and kisses her hair.
Sarah starts to stir.
Chuck lies down behind her and out of view. We can hear
kissing sounds behind Sarah, who grabs a digital thermometer on a nearby night
stand. She puts it in her mouth and waits a bit. The thermometer
starts beeping and she checks her temperature.
As she is writing it down Chuck leans across to kiss her
cheek.
CHUCK
Good morning.
SARAH
Not now...Let's save up for later.
Sarah pats Chuck on the cheek.
SARAH
Good morning honey. Get some more sleep ok?
Sarah goes back to sleep as Chuck looks on disappointedly.
CUT TO:
3 INT.
CASTLE - DAY 1
Chuck and Sarah are greeted by CASEY and MORGAN.
CASEY
It's about time. Beckman's got an assignment for us.
MORGAN
And she's offering big bucks for us to take it.
CHUCK
Let's see what it is then.
The plasma display shows the DNI logo for a beat, then
switches to CUE BECKMAN.
BECKMAN
Good morning team. I have an assignment of interest to
you.
CHUCK
How do you know we're going to be interested when you haven't
even shown us the details?
Beckman ignores Chuck and an image of Red Grant appears, clad
in nothing but speedos, emerging from the water.

Oh!
Sarah gasps in delight at the sight of him, then quickly
covers her mouth in embarrassment, while Chuck looks at her jealously and
insecurely. Casey grunts at Chuck.
CHUCK
General, I think there has been a mistake...
BECKMAN
There has been no mistake Bartowski. This man, a Russian
intelligence officer working at their Istanbul office claims to have the
original prototype of a Lektor, built by your father, for driving an Intersect
computer.
CASEY
Then let's grab him and get it.
BECKMAN
He has agreed to provide the location of the Lektor. In
exchange we are to have Sarah escort him from Istanbul to Venice for him to
defect.
Sarah's eyes open wide.
CHUCK
Why Sarah? Can't Casey or I do it?
BECKMAN
He specifically requested Sarah only. He has seen a
picture of her and fallen in love with her.
CHUCK
What? Well...no...Sarah's not available for this mission.
BECKMAN
The original Lektor is a missing piece we need. We are
willing to pay Carmichael Industries ten times the regular charge to bring it
in.
MORGAN
Whoa...ten times!
SARAH
I'll do it.
Morgan face-palms himself.
MORGAN

CHUCK
What? Wait! Don't I have a say in this?
BECKMAN
It's the twenty first century Bartowski. We women don't

Casey grunts at Chuck.
BECKMAN
He sent a package for Sarah to the CIA. We forwarded it
to you and Casey should have it.
Casey takes out a Fed-Ex envelope and passes it to Sarah.
Sarah opens the package and sees the picture Decker took of
Grant. She flips the picture over and on the back it reads:
To my love Sarah. I hope this finds you in time: Happy
Valentine's Day!
Chuck is reading over Sarah's shoulder and feeling very
jealous.
Sarah shakes her head, takes out a pen, and writes on the
back of the photo:

Casey whispers to Chuck:

uncomfortably. We can hear the roar of the plane's engines while in

Sarah reaches down and takes a photo out of her carry on
luggage. It is the photo she always takes with her: of her and Chuck

She looks at the photo.

CUE Red Grant, who enters wearing a tuxedo, and walks up to

Grant takes Sarah's hand and kisses it. He then sits.

Waiter! A bottle of Krystal Champagne please.
The waiter nods and goes to the bar to fetch the drinks.

Chuck is carefully watching through a window nearby Sarah's
table and is getting very jealous and insecure.

drinks. Morgan goes directly to Sarah, who at first looks surprised at
Morgan, but then regains composure.

It's a surprise to see two waiters to serve one set of drinks.
Sarah gives Casey a look.
Casey subtlely shakes his head.
Grant looks at Casey, who then quickly reverts to his typical
stoic face.

Meanwhile, hidden from Grant's view, Morgan's fingers signal
to Sarah to look out the window.
Sarah takes the hint and for the first time, sees Chuck
looking right back at her.
The following conversation is mimed:

Sarah: Yes...I can see you.
Sarah and Chuck look at Grant and see Morgan has him tied up
in polite conversation.

Grant motions to a thug that takes Sarah away.
Grant walks a bit to a corner of the warehouse where we see:

Mike, Jeff and Lester. All have both their hands tied behind their backs
and their feet bound.
Grant takes out an explosive and sets its timer to 20 minutes.

Sarah has cut her hands free and is now loosening the bonds
on her feet.

WAREHOUSE - DAY 3
Big Mike runs inside with all the students. Hannah's
slain body has been covered with blankets and hidden away from their site.
CHUCK
OK...I need your help...I'm Hannah's friend and I need your
help to save my wife...
The children just stare at Chuck blankly.

We were told Hannah was here! I'm going to call my Daddy!
Lester steps forward.
lester
Do you see that bundle of blankets over there?!? That's
your beloved teacher, Hannah, who was murdered by the people we are trying to
stop!
The children just drop their jaws and stare in fright.
LESTER
We can't save Hannah, but if we all work together, we can
avenge her!
The children begin to cheer in support.

Charles says you all know something about computer
networks. Help us set up the wireless inside that!

YACHT - DAY 3
Sarah is free when Grant starts to come down the
stairs. She hides her knife and pretends she's still bound.
Grant enters and begins grabbing some rope.

WAREHOUSE - DAY 3
The group has assembled a mini-blimp with jet engines.
CASEY
Head that way. He's probably going to that marina to
take Sarah to the Sea of Marmara.
CHUCK
Why there?
ROAN
It's where all the rich Turkish men take their mistresses.
Open water, all alone on a yacht with no one to interrupt...
Everyone looks at Roan:
ROAN
Just saying...
AWESOME
Remember bro...tell Sarah you love her and get jealous when
other guys get near her.
CHUCK
Have you ever had to do that with Ellie?
AWESOME
How could Ellie want another man over me?
CHUCK
Well maybe Sarah doesn't look at other men since me?
The group shakes their heads: not likely.

Remember, he's going to have backup boats around...to make
sure no witnesses and no help for Sarah.

So you gotta trick him into the Bosphorus Strait. It's
nice and narrow with restricted maneouvering room...will even the odds against
Grant's backup boats.
CHUCK
Got it.
Chuck looks at his friends and Hannah's students with
grattitude.
CHUCK
Thank you.
Lester rushes up with a bouquet of Gardenia.

Chuck stands up in the passenger box and we see he is wearing
the Louis Vuitton tuxedo he bought earlier.
Chuck throws out the anchor and the blimp starts floating.

Warehouse - day 3
We see the large front doors of the warehouse open.
Chuck's blimp floats out.
Hannah's students chase after it.
All children (repeatedly)
Go Chuck go! Go Chuck go! Go Chuck go!
Chuck starts the engines and the blimp flies off.
Cut to:
93 INT.
YACHT - DAY 3
Grant, while winding up the rope, turns his head to look
outside.
Sarah leaps at Grant, knife ready to slice his throat.
The boat rocks and Sarah narrowly misses.
Grant throws a punch which Sarah ducks. She side kicks
him in the ribs.
After a brief martial arts battle it is clear Sarah is
outclassed. Grant disarms her and Sarah runs to the open deck.

yacht - day 3
Sarah runs out to recuperate and for the first time sees the
other 3 boats: several men armed with machine guns on each boat, encircling
hers.
The camera pans out and we see the 4 boats in the middle of
the sea.
The camera zooms in on Sarah as she turns around as Grant
calmly climbs up to the top deck.

instanbul - day 3
Chuck's blimp is rocketing pass the Istanbul skyline and now
crossing into the sea.
cut to:
96 int.
blimp - day 3
We see inside the blimp for the first time. Chuck has a
laptop attached to a wireless router, and he is typing in some commands into
the keyboard. Beside him are the Gardenia.
Chuck looks over and sees the sea passing quickly below
him. Not far ahead, he sees the wake of 4 boats.

97 EXT.
YACHT - DAY 3
On the upper deck, Sarah continues fighting Grant to no
avail. She is knocked into the cockpit against the controls.
Suddenly her iPhone starts beeping.
She takes out her iPhone and sees a text message from an
unknown caller ID with a single word:
UP.
Sarah looks up and she sees Chuck's blimp coming over the
horizon.
The iPhone beeps again. She looks at the next message,
also a single word:
CHUCK
cut to:
98 INT.
BLIMP - DAY 3
The blimp is rocketing fast over the sea and gaining on the
boats. Chuck stands up and starts yelling at the top of his voice
repeatedly:
CHUCK
Sarah! Sarah! I love you! Sarah I love you!
cut to:
99 EXT.
YACHT - DAY 3
Sarah can hear a faint voice over the wind and motors of the
boat: Sarah I love you...
Sarah looks up at the approaching blimp and
smiles. Suddenly her limbs grow stronger and she stands with renewed
strength and vigor.
SARAH
Let's finish this, shall we?
Sarah and Grant fight again, but Sarah defeats him and knocks
him unconscious with a spinning side kick to his temple.
Sarah's iPhone beeps again. She looks at the text
message and this time it reads:
Bosphorus.
Sarah takes the steering wheel and turns the boat around.
The other 3 boats follow.

100 INT.
BLIMP - DAY 3
Chuck starts adjusting some controls on top of him.
cut to:
101 ext.
blimp - day 3
In the sky, the blimp changes direction and follows the
boats. Ahead of the boats, we see the Bosphorus Strait.

102 EXT.
YACHT - DAY 3
A thug on one of the escort boats takes out a megaphone and
starts yelling into it:

Grant! Turn around!
cut to:
103 EXT.
YACHT - DAY 3
Sarah continues on her course and ducks her head low.
Gunfire can be heard around her, and bullets can be heard
striking her boat.
She looks ahead and is now entering the Bosphorus Strait.

BLIMP - DAY 3
Chuck presses some controls on the blimp.
cut to:
105 EXT.
BLIMP - DAY 3
The blimp's engines shut down.
The blimp slows down over the motor boats.
cut to:

blimp - day 3
Chuck starts throwing a few small gas cannisters out the
blimp.
cut to:
107 EXT.
YACHT - DAY 3
Sarah looks up at the blimp between machine gun fire and sees
it rapidly falling towards her.
On the floor, we see Grant starting to stir on the deck.

boat - day 3
The thugs look up and see the approaching blimp.
A few turn their attention to it and fire some shots at it.
cut to:
109 EXT.
YACHT - DAY 3
Sarah turns around and sees the thugs firing on Chuck's blimp.
SARAH
Chuck...no!
cut to:

blimp - day 3
Chuck unhooks some cables and his box falls forward as the
blimp falls behind.
Chuck then cuts a cord.
continuous shot:
111 EXT.
BLIMP - DAY 3
Hang gliding wings unfurl from Chuck's box and he continues
to glide towards Sarah's boat.
cut to:
112 ext.
yacht - day 3
Chuck's blimp crashes into the water in front of the 3 boats
pursuing Sarah.
The 3 boats stop directly in front of it.
cut to:
113 ext.
yacht - day 3
Grant gets up with an anchor and moves menacingly towards
Sarah.
Sarah turns around, looks at Grant, and then quickly ducks
into the lower cabin.
Grant turns around and sees:
Chuck's box smashes into him and crashes into the deck of the
yacht, effectively crushing him.
Sarah comes back up, pushing debris out of her way.
Chuck climbs out of his box. As he steps out, he notices
something funny about the floor beneath him and starts lightly bouncing on it.
CHUCK
This boat feels so squishy.
Sarah looks like she's about to vomit.
CHUCK
Where's Grant?
SARAH
You're standing on him.
Chuck looks down, then turns away in disgust.
Chuck and Sarah then look at each other.
CHUCK
I didn't notice. I'm scared of heights so I crouched in
the box there and closed my eyes and...oh...are you ok honey?
SARAH
Yes sweetie, I am.
CHUCK
Oops...forgot something.
Chuck reaches into the box and takes out the bouquet of
gardenia.
CHUCK
I love you.
Sarah now notices Chuck is standing in a tuxedo with a
bouquet of her favourite flowers held towards her.
Sarah runs to him and kisses him passionately.
SARAH
I love you.
Chuck holds Sarah back for a minute.
CHUCK
We still got to take care of them? You got a flare gun?
SARAH
Yeah...over there.
Chuck walks over to the rear of the boat, opens a hatch and
takes out a flare gun.
The camera shows us the view from the blimp and we see Chuck
holding the flare gun straight at it as the other boats start to slowly make
their way to the edges of the blimp. Sarah stands behind Chuck at the
yacht's controls.
CHUCK
Start the boat...get us out of here fast.
Sarah throttles the boat and speeds away.
Chuck pulls the trigger.
cut to:
114 ext.
sea - day 3
The flare strikes the blimp, causing it to explode. The
other 3 boats are caught in the blast and the thugs are burnt in a huge
fireball.
cut to:
115 ext.
sea - day 3
We see the view from the sky and the fire has formed a ring
surrounding the 3 boats. This reveals Chuck's plan: to trap the pursuing
boats in the narrow Bosphorus Strait and burn them.
Some thugs jump out of their boats and try to swim to escape
but are stopped by the fire around them.

YACHT - DAY 3
CHUCK
Sarah...I love you...I love you...I mean...
SARAH
Why don't you just tell me what you want?
CHUCK
It's just that...I don't want you to be mad with me.
SARAH
Tell you what? I promise not to take on any more
missions with hot guys...as long as you tell me what's on your mind. And
be honest.
CHUCK
That's what I wanted. Also no more seduction missions
either.
SARAH
Deal. And none for you either.
Chuck and Sarah just smile at each other.
SARAH
Where do we go now?
CHUCK
How does Venice sound?

Chuck and Sarah are in their room looking at a laptop, with
Roan, Casey, Awesome and Morgan on the screen.
CHUCK
Thanks guys.
SARAH
You guys did all this to help Chuck keep me away from that
spy??
ROAN
It was all John's idea.
Casey grunts and looks at Roan.
MORGAN
Yeah...you gotta hand it to John...he's a real Charah
shipper. He's been feeding buspirone to all the hot spy types that got
close to you: Bryce, Kirk, Cole, Shaw...even Gilles...
SARAH
Ever since Chuck and I first met I've been faithful to him.
Sarah thinks for a beat.
SARAH
What's buspirone?

Awesome, Roan, Casey and Morgan all start chuckling.
CHUCK

BRYCE, Sarah and Casey are chatting after Casey shot Bryce in
vs the Nemesis.

No thanks Casey...I'll find my own place to stay tonight.
Bryce winks at Sarah.
casey
Oh in that case, please have some coffee.
Casey takes a cup of coffee and quietly pours some buspirone
into it.
He gives the cup to Bryce, who drinks it.
BRYCE
Thanks Casey...this tastes great.

SARAH'S HOTEL ROOM - NIGHT
Sarah opens the door and Casey enters. Bryce is there
with Sarah after Chuck arrived in vs the Seduction. Bryce is laughing.
BRYCE
Why did Chuck bring you the flowers? Did he think you're
actually interested in him?
Sarah shrugs her shoulders.
Casey offers Sarah and Bryce each a beer.

Want something to drink Larkin? Long time no see.
BRYCE
Yeah thanks Casey.
Bryce grabs the beer and starts chugging it.

SARAH
I can't believe you guys did that!

BUY MORE - night
Awesome walks to the home theater room where Morgan is
waiting. He passes Morgan a small bottle, who takes the bottle to the
locker area. He puts the bottle in Casey's locker.

Casey is pressing a button on a console and a winch can be
heard in the background. A bell rings and Casey opens a cabinet in front
of him and it contains his locker's possessions, including the bottle Morgan
just placed in.
Casey opens the bottle, pours the contents into a glass of
water, and walks over to COLE.

Here you go, Agent Barker. Some bottled water to make up
for ruining your undercover mission tonight.
cole
Well thank you Casey. That's very kind of you. I'll
need it since I plan on working up a sweat with Agent Walker tonight.
Cole winks at Casey.
Casey grunts.

swizzle stick you always chew on when you're nervous.
Sarah takes the coffee, rolls her eyes and says
nothing. She takes the swizzle stick and throws it into the garbage pail.
Shaw walks over to Casey with a coffee.

Casey hands Shaw a cup of coffee.

CASEY
I would be offended if you didn't drink this. I need to

Shaw puts down his coffee, takes the cup from Casey and
drinks it all.

Sarah and Shaw intercept Awesome by the pool.

Sarah smiles and waits a beat.

That warehouse was CIA. So was Grant.
CASEY
So we're pretty sure it's Decker. You two just relax
for a couple of weeks. We'll talk more when you get back to Burbank.
The laptop screen switches off.
Sarah puts her arms around Chuck.
SARAH
Don't worry. We'll get them for murdering Hannah.
Right now let's just relax in the jacuzzi.
Sarah gets up and goes offscreen.
Soon we hear water pouring. Then the sound of the
jacuzzi jets.
SARAH
Honey hurry up! I'm getting lonely without you.
Chuck gets up and runs offscreen while undressing.
We hear Chuck step into the jacuzzi.
CHUCK
Whoa...kinda cool...can't we use hot water?
SARAH
No...remember...Ellie said no hot baths or showers...so let's
get close and start moving to warm things up.

HOTEL CIPRIANI, VENICE - Day 4
Sarah lies in bed, smiling, sleeping, at peace in the
afterglow of love.
Chuck enters the picture, wearing only a bath robe, and
carrying a breakfast tray with covered meals on it. He puts it over Sarah
and kisses her gently on the cheek.
Sarah stirs.
CHUCK
Good morning.
Sarah moans but refuses to open her eyes.
SARAH
Morning.
CHUCK
Happy Valentine's Day!
Sarah yawns.
SARAH
It is?
CHUCK
It is. I got you your favourite breakfast...raspberry
danish...along with steak and scrambled eggs...
Sarah's eyes are still closed.
SARAH
You are the most amazing husband in the world.
Chuck just grins.
SARAH
I mean it...I mean...I can still feel you.
CHUCK
Of course you can...you're holding on to me.
SARAH
No...really...I can still feel you...in me.
Chuck's eyes widen with pride and realization.
CHUCK
Well...I'll take that as a compliment.
SARAH
It was a compliment...
CHUCK
I'll leave breakfast here and get changed to join you.
SARAH
Don't you dare get dressed. Let me savour the feeling a
little more...then we can have breakfast in bed together.
Chuck smiles, steps off camera, throws his robe onto the bed
(on camera), then climbs into bed with Sarah (off camera).
Chuck and Sarah kiss.
As Chuck starts to chow down on his breakfast, Sarah reaches
across, grabs a digital thermometer on her bed stand, and takes her
temperature. Sarah marks the temperature in her iPhone which gives her
feedback:
Temp lower today.

HOTEL CIPRIANI, VENICE - DAY 4
Chuck and Sarah are done eating.
Gone is the breakfast tray and food. Sarah is fully
clothed in fully covering silk pajamas, with her legs resting against the
headboard and wall, her lower back on a pillow, and the rest of her lying on
the bed.
Someone knocks on the door.
CHUCK
I'll get it.
Chuck takes the dirty dishes and puts them beside the
door. He opens the door:
It's Rosa Klebb.
klebb
Room service.
CHUCK
The dirty dishes are there.
Chuck turns around and smiles at his wife.
The camera shows us the view from Sarah's
eyes. Everything is upside down.
Back to regular view:
Klebb picks up a plate and looks over her shoulder at
Chuck. His back is turned. Klebb clicks her shoes together and 2
spikes portrude from the front of each shoe. She moves towards Chuck.
SARAH
Chuck! Behind you!
Chuck turns around as Klebb kicks at him...he dodges it just
in time.
Chuck grabs a fork and starts using it to fight with Klebb.
Klebb does a roundhouse kick at Chuck but misses, and gets
one shoe stuck in the wall.
Sarah quickly draws a knife from under the bed and tosses it,
impaling Klebb in the neck, who dies.
CHUCK
Thanks honey.
SARAH
Happy Valentine's Day.
CHUCK
Now I have to get you an even bigger Valentine's gift.
SARAH
Just hurry up and get the police to clean this up so you can
get back into bed, alright?

Chuck and Sarah sit outside the restaurant in the small
square that contains it, protected by the sun by a tent canopy extending in
front of the restaurant.
SARAH
Wow...the raw seafood was excellent...this has got to be the
best Italian food I've ever had...how did you find this place?
CHUCK
While Awesome was shopping for me at Louis Vuitton in
Istanbul I read some of their travel guides. The one on Venice recommended
this place.
SARAH
So...did you tell Casey what the police found on Rosa Klebb's
body?
CHUCK
Yup...Casey took care of it already.

CIA OFFICE - night 5
Decker opens an envelope marked priority express same day
delivery on his desk.
A photo falls out of it.
Decker picks up the photo and we see it is a picture of
Hannah.
Decker looks suspiciously at the photo, and turns it
around. On the back, a sentence has been taped on using cut out letters of
different sizes from magazines:
